Why this is restricted
- California roster (handguns). Off-roster handguns — those not on California's approved roster of certified handguns — may not be sold to the general public; only law-enforcement and other exempt buyers qualify.
- Large-capacity magazine law. Magazines over 10 rounds may not be sold or transferred to the general public in California.
- Law-enforcement / exempt exception. Qualified peace officers and agencies may purchase under the statutory exemption.
- Verified in person. We confirm your LE credentials at the counter before releasing the item — the online attestation does not complete the sale.
- Non-exempt orders. Cannot be delivered; a 50% restocking fee applies (minimum the lower of $50 or the item price).
Description
Ruger's Super Redhawk revolver features a strong extended frame with extra metal in top strap, sidewalls and barrel mounting areas to handle powerful, big game loads. Its' triple-locking cylinder is locked into the frame at the front, rear and bottom for more positive alignment and dependable operation. The patented transfer bar mechanism provides an unparalleled measure of security, while the peg-style grip frame easily accommodates custom grips. The recoil cushioning Hogue Tamer Monogrip with an internal recoil cushion helps reduce the impact of powerful loads. The Super Redhawk also has dual chambering, corrosion-resistant stainless steel finish, cold hammer-forged barrel, and an adjustable rear sight and fixed, replaceable insert ramp front. This Alaskan model is chambered in .454 Casull and has a 2.5" barrel and black grip.
