Why this is restricted
- California roster (handguns). Off-roster handguns — those not on California's approved roster of certified handguns — may not be sold to the general public; only law-enforcement and other exempt buyers qualify.
- Large-capacity magazine law. Magazines over 10 rounds may not be sold or transferred to the general public in California.
- Law-enforcement / exempt exception. Qualified peace officers and agencies may purchase under the statutory exemption.
- Verified in person. We confirm your LE credentials at the counter before releasing the item — the online attestation does not complete the sale.
- Non-exempt orders. Cannot be delivered; a 50% restocking fee applies (minimum the lower of $50 or the item price).
Description
Created by Shadow Systems with John Lovell's hand-selected features, the War Poet line of pistols merges Warrior Poet Society's philosophy with Shadow Systems functionality. War Poet pistols are built on the MR920, DR920, and CR920 platforms, with all internal features of those pistols alongside exclusive WPS color and brand elements. The differentiating features of the War Poet line are in the slide machining. John Lovell selected aggressively angled serrations in front, rear, and topside, paired with a weight-balancing window cut. All War Poet models come standard with the patented Shadow Systems multi-footprint optic cut, allowing for direct, strong mounting of most brands of red dot sights.
