Why this is restricted
- California roster (handguns). Off-roster handguns — those not on California's approved roster of certified handguns — may not be sold to the general public; only law-enforcement and other exempt buyers qualify.
- Large-capacity magazine law. Magazines over 10 rounds may not be sold or transferred to the general public in California.
- Law-enforcement / exempt exception. Qualified peace officers and agencies may purchase under the statutory exemption.
- Verified in person. We confirm your LE credentials at the counter before releasing the item — the online attestation does not complete the sale.
- Non-exempt orders. Cannot be delivered; a 50% restocking fee applies (minimum the lower of $50 or the item price).
Description
The FN 509 is built on the proven architecture of the FNS Compact. Featuring a cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel; combat-style sights; front and rear cocking serrations; MIL-STD 1913 accessory mounting rail; interchangeable backstraps; double action operation; fully ambidextrous slide stop lever and magazine release; fixed 3 dot luminescent sights and a polymer construction with replaceable steel frame/slide rails. Includes two interchangeable backstraps, two magazines, owners manual, locking device and soft pistol case.
