- California roster (handguns). Off-roster handguns — those not on California's approved roster of certified handguns — may not be sold to the general public; only law-enforcement and other exempt buyers qualify.
- Large-capacity magazine law. Magazines over 10 rounds may not be sold or transferred to the general public in California.
- Law-enforcement / exempt exception. Qualified peace officers and agencies may purchase under the statutory exemption.
- Verified in person. We confirm your LE credentials at the counter before releasing the item — the online attestation does not complete the sale.
- Non-exempt orders. Cannot be delivered; a 50% restocking fee applies (minimum the lower of $50 or the item price).

The Performance Center Shield offers features gold trigger, grip safety and barrel; factory ported barrel and slide; lightening cuts in slide for reduced weight; Picatinny-style rail and Hi-Viz Litewave H3 Tritium/Litepipe Sights.
